- Affiliate networks: We may receive anonymized conversion data from affiliate networks when guests click Event Links from your event page (see Section 7).
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide the Service: Creating and managing accounts, hosting event pages, storing photos, processing RSVPs, generating seating charts, and displaying Event Links;
- To process payments: Billing your account for subscription fees and managing subscription status;
- To communicate with you: Sending transactional emails (account confirmation, password resets, billing receipts, storage expiry warnings), responding to support requests, and sending product updates where you have opted in;
- To improve the Service: Analyzing usage patterns, diagnosing technical issues, and developing new features;
- For security: Detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity;

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your personal information to send you unsolicited marketing emails from third parties.
5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): Processing necessary to provide the Service, including account management, event hosting, and payment processing;
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): Processing for security, fraud prevention, product improvement, and Service analytics, where these interests are not overridden by your rights;
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): Processing required to comply with applicable laws;
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): Where we ask for your consent (e.g., optional marketing emails or cookie consent), you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
6.1 Service Providers
We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Service, subject to confidentiality obligations and data processing agreements:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): Cloud infrastructure and S3 file storage. Photos and files uploaded to the Service are stored on AWS servers;
- Payment processors: To process subscription payments. Our payment processor receives your payment card information directly;
- Email service providers: To send transactional emails;
- Analytics providers: To analyze Service usage (using anonymized or aggregated data where possible).
6.2 Event Owners and Guests
RSVP responses, seating data, and uploaded photos submitted by guests on an event page are visible to the Event Owner and their authorized team members. Guests acknowledge that their submitted information will be shared with the Event Owner when they submit an RSVP or upload content.
6.3 Public Event Pages
Photos uploaded to a public gallery and displayed on a public event page are accessible to anyone who visits that event page URL. Event Owners are responsible for the privacy implications of making their event pages and galleries public.
6.4 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, subpoena, or other governmental authority, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with a legal obligation; (b) protect and defend our rights or property; (c) prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing; (d) protect the personal safety of users or the public; or (e) protect against legal liability.
6.5 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or other corporate transaction involving CodeCr8 LLC, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice of any such change in control via the Service or email.
6.6 With Your Consent
We may share your information in other ways not described above with your explicit prior consent.
7. Affiliate Tracking & Third-Party Links
MemoryDrop.io may append affiliate tracking parameters or referral codes to Event Links (such as registry links added by Event Owners) displayed on event pages. This means:
- When a guest clicks an Event Link, a cookie or URL parameter may be set by the third-party retailer or affiliate network to track whether a purchase is subsequently made;
- If a qualifying purchase is made, CodeCr8 LLC may receive a commission from the third-party retailer;
- The affiliate tracking process involves the third-party retailer or affiliate network receiving your IP address and a cookie identifier when you click the link. This is subject to that retailer's privacy policy, not ours;
- This tracking does not result in CodeCr8 LLC receiving your name, payment information, or purchase details from the retailer;
- The prices you pay on any third-party website are not affected by affiliate tracking.
We are disclosing this practice in compliance with FTC guidelines on affiliate marketing and endorsements (16 C.F.R. Part 255). By using Event Links on the Service, Event Owners consent to this practice as further described in our Terms of Service.

- Analytics cookies: Help us understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. We use aggregated and anonymized data where possible;
- Third-party cookies: Set by our service providers (e.g., payment processors, analytics platforms). These are subject to those providers' privacy policies.
8.3 Your Cookie Choices
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies will impair the functionality of the Service. For more information about managing cookies, visit allaboutcookies.org.

We implement reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS/HTTPS;
- Hashed passwords (never stored in plaintext);
- Role-based access controls within the Service;
- Periodic security reviews.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. For users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on the following safeguards for international transfers:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, incorporated into our agreements with service providers where applicable;
