MemoryDrop is a platform that lets you create a beautiful, dedicated website for your special events — weddings, birthdays, baby showers, corporate events, and more. Share event details, collect RSVPs, run a photo gallery, build a digital seating chart, and give guests a single place to celebrate with you.

After signing up (or logging in), head to your Dashboard and click New Event. Enter your event title, date, and any details you'd like to share — your event page is live instantly. You can customize it further at any time from the admin panel.

No! You can sign up and create a free event with no credit card required. The free plan gives you up to 10 photo uploads and keeps your event page live for 7 days after your event date. You only pay if you want unlimited photos and extended storage.

Yes — register and log in using your Google account for a one-click experience. Traditional email and password authentication is also supported.

Absolutely. Each event gets its own dedicated page, gallery, and settings. On the free plan each event is paid for individually ($39 one-time per event). On the Business plan ($79/month) you get unlimited events with no per-event charge.

Yes. In your event settings you can set a page password. Guests will be asked to enter it before viewing anything on your event page, keeping it private to invited guests only.

From your event dashboard, go to the Customize tab. You can upload a header/banner image, choose background colors, add custom text blocks, and include registry links or any other URLs. Pages are fully responsive across phones, tablets, and desktops.

Yes! Add registry links (Amazon, Zola, Crate & Barrel, etc.) and any other links you want guests to see — they appear as styled buttons on your event page.

Yes! Every event has a built-in QR code generator. In your event's Overview tab click Download QR Code. Customize the caption text (e.g. "Scan to share photos!"), choose a size, and download as a PNG — perfect for printing on invitations or table cards.

Guests simply visit your event's gallery page and tap Upload Photos. No account required — they select photos from their phone or computer and they're submitted instantly. Works seamlessly on mobile for on-the-spot sharing.

Yes. Enable Photo Approval in your gallery settings. Uploaded photos go into a pending queue and only appear publicly after you approve them from your admin dashboard. When approval is off, photos appear instantly.

Yes. Each gallery can be set to Public (visible on your event page) or Private (only accessible to you as the event owner). You can also password-protect the entire event page.

Yes! Create multiple galleries for a single event — for example one for ceremony photos and another for the reception. Each gallery has its own privacy and approval settings.

On the free plan, each event allows up to 10 photos total. Unlocking an event ($39 one-time) or subscribing to the Business plan ($79/month) removes this limit entirely.

Yes. From your event's RSVP section, build a custom form with fields like name, attendance, meal preference, dietary restrictions, plus-one details, or any custom question you need. All responses are collected in your dashboard.

In your event's admin panel, click the Guests tab. You'll see a full list of responses with all submitted information, and you can export the list if needed.

You enter your seating assignments in the Seating Chart section of your event. Guests then visit your event page and search for their name to instantly find their table — no printing required!

In the Seating Chart tab, add guests individually or import a CSV/Excel file. Assign each guest a table name or number. Once saved, the live search is ready for your event day.

The free plan lets you create a full event page with:

• Events stored for 1 year after each event date

Yes, cancel anytime from Settings → Subscription. Your plan stays active through the end of your current billing period, then your account reverts to free plan limits.

We handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis. If you have an issue with your purchase, contact us within 7 days and we'll do our best to help.

Yes. From Settings → Team, invite other people to your organization as Editor (manage events) or Admin (full access). Great for wedding planners, assistants, or co-hosts.

Go to Settings → My Profile and scroll to the Change Password section. Enter your current password and new password (minimum 8 characters), then save.

Yes. All files and images are stored in private AWS S3 storage with signed, time-limited access URLs. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. We never sell or share your data. Payments are processed securely by Stripe — we never store card details.

Free events are stored for 7 days after the event date. Paid events (per-event unlock or Business plan) are stored for 1 year. After the storage period, the event page and photos are removed. Download your gallery before this date to keep your memories.
